The funeral service took place at Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematorium on Monday 8th February 2021 at 1pm in the Wellington Chapel. 

We’d like to thank everyone that attended either in person or via the webcast. It was a fitting send off considering the restrictions that are currently in place. Thanks to everyone for your kind words following the service and on this tribute site, and also for the many cards and flowers we’ve received over the last few weeks. It really is very much appreciated. If you haven’t yet contributed any thoughts, stories or photos then you are still very welcome to do so as this page will remain open indefinitely. Our thanks also go to everyone who has made a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society, the amount raised so far is absolutely staggering.

It’s such a shame that we couldn’t have all been together on the day so we’re hoping to organise some sort of memorial gathering for everyone when we are more free to socialise. There’s obviously no concrete plans as yet but when it’s appropriate to make plans we’ll be in touch directly and also through this tribute page.
